Vodolah spritzer toast attempt narrowly misses Guinness World Record

An attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the longest spritzer toast at the Vodolah estate in the Maribor region fell just short of the target. Organizer Bogdan Mak reported that while 2,874 people registered for the event, the final turnout was 66 people fewer than required to surpass the current record held by participants in China, who gathered 2,020 people.

Mak attributed the shortfall to social media registrations where individuals signed up but did not attend. Despite the unsuccessful attempt, the event was described as having a positive atmosphere. Plans are already underway for "Spritzline 2027," with organizers aiming to improve the event and address the logistical issues encountered during this inaugural attempt.
