Vogošća heating restored as Bags-Energotehnika restarts boiler
Bags-Energotehnika has successfully restarted the boiler in Vogošća following the delivery of fuel oil (mazut) and the completion of technical repairs. Mirsad Jašarević, director of the Sarajevo Canton-owned company, announced that the heating system is operational and that all detected faults in the heating network have been resolved.
To compensate for the service interruption, the company stated that customers will not be charged for days when thermal energy was not supplied, and invoices will be reduced accordingly. Jašarević also noted that recent maintenance and repairs have significantly reduced network losses, bringing them down from 200–250 cubic meters at the end of the last heating season to between 10 and 15 cubic meters.
The restoration follows a period of heating instability and shortages that caused significant dissatisfaction among residents. While a long-term solution involving the construction of a new heating plant managed by Toplane Sarajevo is planned, it remains uncompleted.
