Voice-Acoustic celebrates 15 years of Modular-10 loudspeaker

Voice-Acoustic is marking 15 years of its Modular-10, a compact multi-function loudspeaker top unit. Since its introduction in 2011, the product has maintained an unusually long lifecycle for the professional audio industry, featuring unchanged chassis components and an identical housing design.

The Modular-10 utilizes a 10-inch Eighteen Sound chassis in the low-frequency range and a 1-inch B&C driver on a rotatable 90° x 40° horn for high frequencies. A key design feature is its trapezoidal housing, which features an angle of nearly 20° per side. This design allows multiple units to be arranged horizontally while reducing interference and overlap.

Additionally, the Modular-10 marked the first series production use of the Easyfly mechanism, a tool-free rigging solution developed by founder Stefan Rast. The specific housing concept and the Easyfly mechanism were both registered with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office in 2011.
