Voicemod launches Key Pocket mobile voice-changing device

Voicemod has announced the Key Pocket, a physical device designed to bring voice-changing technology to mobile gaming and streaming. The device, which is available for preorder at $130, magnetically clips to the back of phones using MagSafe-compatible magnets.

Acting as a controller interface for the Voicemod app, the Key Pocket features six programmable buttons for switching between voices or audio effects and a wheel to adjust volume. To ensure privacy and performance, all voice processing is performed locally and in real time, separate from the user's games or streaming applications.

The device is compatible with various platforms, including tablets, consoles such as PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as Meta Quest 2, 3, and 3S headsets. It supports wired and Bluetooth headsets and includes USB passthrough charging.
