VOID SECTOR ZERO signs with Season of Mist

progressive thrash metal technical death metal Season of Mist Christian Muenzner new band announcement

The progressive thrash metal trio VOID SECTOR ZERO has signed with the record label Season of Mist. The band is composed of guitarist Christian Muenzner (Necrophagist, Obscura, Alkaloid), vocalist-bassist Alex Weber (Revocation, Malignancy, Exist), and drummer Gabe Seeber (Decrepit Birth, Abigail Williams).

The musicians previously worked together during Obscura’s world tour for ‘A Valediction’. Their new project aims to blend late-1980s technical thrash with early-1990s technical death metal, incorporating elements of jazz fusion, neoclassical metal, and US power metal.

A debut album is scheduled for release in 2026. A trailer for an upcoming single has been released via the Season of Mist YouTube channel.
