Vojtěch Běloch criminal history and 1973 murder

Historical records detail the criminal history of Vojtěch Běloch, a man convicted of multiple sexual offenses against children. In 1958, Běloch was sentenced to ten years in prison for abusing three children, but he was released on parole after five years due to disciplinary rewards.

In 1965, while still on probation, he was convicted of abusing a ten-year-old girl. His sentence was subsequently shortened by an amnesty issued by President Antonín Novotný.

In December 1973, Běloch lured a first-grade student, Marcela Konečná, to his apartment in Dubňany by promising her pictures from a fairy tale book. After sexually assaulting her, he strangled the child to prevent her from reporting the crime. He attempted to create an alibi by appearing in public with a beer shortly after the incident.
