Vojvodina football officials complete seasonal training seminars

The Football Association of Vojvodina has concluded a series of professional development seminars in preparation for the 2026/27 competitive season.

In Novi Bečej, a five-day seminar for officials of the Serbian League Vojvodina focused on referees, assistant referees, and delegates. Out of 28 referees who underwent testing, 27 successfully met the criteria. Additionally, 24 out of 26 assistant referees passed their evaluations. The program included theoretical training, physical fitness assessments, and analysis of match situations to ensure uniform application of the Laws of the Game.

Concurrently, a mandatory seminar for coaches of the Serbian League Vojvodina and various regional youth categories was held at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Novi Sad. Attended by 80 coaches, the session featured lectures from elite UEFA referee Srđan Jovanović and Proleter 023 head of staff Nikola Stojanović. Discussions centered on the impact of new football rules, the importance of cooperation between coaches and referees, and the ongoing efforts to increase effective playing time in matches.
