Vojvodina rejects Levski Sofia's record transfer bid for Negoš Petrović

Vojvodina management has rejected a significant transfer offer from Levski Sofia for their captain, Negoš Petrović. According to reports, the Bulgarian club was prepared to pay over 2 million euros plus bonuses for the 27-year-old midfielder.

Vojvodina President Dragoljub Zbiljić stated that the club would not sell one of its top players while participating in European club competitions. The Serbian side is holding out for a higher fee, aiming to match previous record sales of 3 million euros achieved for players like Gojko Kačar and Mihailo Ivanović.

If the deal had been finalized, the 2 million euro fee would have set a new record for Levski Sofia's most expensive incoming transfer, surpassing the 1.5 million euro fee paid for Reinaldo earlier this summer.
