Vojvodina seeks win over Mačva despite lack of training

Vojvodina will host Mačva at Karađorđe Stadium on Monday at 19:00 in the third round of the Serbian SuperLiga. Coach Marko Savic said the team has had virtually no training since his arrival, leaving no time for preparation, but emphasized the goal is to play well and win. He noted the squad’s current record of one win and one loss, and mentioned injuries to Sinisa Tanjga and the gradual return of Marko Veličković.

Technical staff chief Nemanja Glusic analyzed the club’s winless start after a 0‑5 loss to Red Star and a 1‑3 defeat to Partizan, stressing the need for concentration and energy. He listed unavailable players – Milan Gvozdenović, Mitar Ergelash, Adams Hamadou, Luka Pejović – and noted Bosko Vraštanović’s suspension, viewing the Mačva match as an opportunity for other players to prove themselves.
