Vojvodina tourism showcased at event in Ljubljana

The Tourism Organization of Vojvodina held the ‘Days of Vojvodina in Slovenia’ event in Ljubljana on September 17 and 18. The initiative aimed to introduce the region's diverse tourism offerings to the Slovenian public and travel industry professionals.

During a press conference at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ljubljana, organizers highlighted Vojvodina's cultural and historical heritage, gastronomy, and opportunities for active recreation. The program included presentations from various local tourism organizations, including those from Novi Sad, Sremski Karlovci, Pančevo, Sombor, and Vršac.

Visitors were able to experience Vojvodina's culinary specialties and wines, alongside cultural performances by the ‘Ova noć’ tamburica orchestra from Kikinda and the ‘Dukat’ folklore ensemble from Stara Pazova. Interest from Slovenian tourists focused particularly on nature-based activities such as cycling, hiking, and rural exploration.
