Volkswagen and Hyundai launch updated vehicle models
Volkswagen has commenced production of the refreshed Caddy model at its factory in Poznan, Poland. The fifth-generation vehicle features exterior updates including new bumpers, new body colors, and updated aluminum wheels. Inside, the model introduces a 12.9-inch standalone central touchscreen and standard digital instruments. The Caddy lineup includes various configurations such as Cargo, Maxi, and California, with powertrain options ranging from petrol and diesel to an eHybrid plug-in hybrid.
In China, Hyundai is updating its Custo MPV. The redesigned model features a rectangular grille with chrome accents, vertical LED headlights, and an aggressive front bumper. The vehicle's length has increased slightly to 4959 mm. Interior improvements include a new instrument cluster and a larger multimedia screen for its seven-passenger cabin. Engine options in the Chinese market will include a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine producing 170 HP and an upgraded 2.0-liter turbo engine delivering 245 HP.
