Volkswagen Camiones y Buses launches new product generation in Argentina

Volkswagen Camiones y Buses has introduced a new generation of vehicles to the Argentine market, focusing on improved efficiency, safety, and technology. Following the start of domestic production at the Córdoba Industrial Center in May 2024, the company is expanding its lineup with Euro V New Generation engines designed to meet specific emission standards.

The new product line offers significant performance upgrades, including fuel consumption reductions of up to 10%, power increases of up to 14%, and torque improvements of up to 10% compared to previous models. Standard safety features across all models now include electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist (HSA), traction control (ATC), and ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD).

CEO Roberto Cortes announced that the brand will also enter the utility vehicle segment in Argentina, with new models expected in 2027. The technological rollout includes the Delivery, Constellation, and Meteor truck lines, as well as bus chassis. Argentina is among thirteen countries, including Paraguay, Uruguay, and Peru, already approved to receive these new Euro V models.
