Volkswagen expands Brazilian commercial vehicle lineup
Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus is set to enter the Brazilian van and utility vehicle market with the launch of three new models. The announcement, made by CEO Roberto Cortes, confirms that the company will debut these vehicles at the Fenatran 2026 event in São Paulo.
The new lineup includes a 16-passenger van, a closed cargo version, and a utility vehicle equipped with a cargo bed. These models are being developed through a partnership with Chinese manufacturer SAIC Maxus, aiming to combine Chinese technological speed with Volkswagen’s expertise in adapting products for the Brazilian market.
Separately, Volkswagen is offering a promotional campaign for the Nivus Sense 200 TSI in Brazil. The entry-level SUV coupe is priced at R$ 119,990 for cash payments.
