Volkswagen Golf 2 Holds 20-Person Guinness Record in Sanski Most

Twenty people simultaneously fit inside a Volkswagen Golf 2 in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record. The stunt was organized by Oldtimer Club 1912 as part of the Sana Retro Festival 2026 and was overseen by a three‑member commission, a police representative and continuous drone monitoring.

Participants, mainly students from the local gymnasium and secondary school, managed to fill the compact car to capacity, confirming the record under official supervision. The event echoed a similar 1969 challenge in Travnik where 26 graduates squeezed into a Fiat, highlighting a regional tradition of unusual automotive feats.
