Volkswagen launches new T‑Roc Hybrid SUV in Italy

Volkswagen has introduced the T‑Roc Hybrid to the Italian market. The only currently available trim, the Style, is priced at €35,645 and comes with a 1.5 L TSI engine paired with two electric motors delivering 170 hp and 309 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption is rated at 5.1 L/100 km with CO₂ emissions of 116 g/km, while a 1.6 kWh NMC battery provides limited electric‑only driving. Standard equipment includes multiple airbags, LED lighting, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, three‑zone climate control, Park Assist Plus and tyre‑pressure monitoring.

Alongside the Italian launch, Volkswagen previewed the upcoming 2026 generation of the T‑Roc. The new model grows by 12 cm to 4.37 m in length, offering a larger 475‑litre boot and more rear‑legroom. It adopts a more horizontal design language, upgraded LED front and rear lighting, and a higher‑quality interior with soft‑touch surfaces. Technological upgrades feature a 10‑inch digital cockpit, up to a 12.9‑inch central touchscreen, and an MIB4 multimedia system with integrated ChatGPT. The 2026 T‑Roc will be fully hybrid, ending diesel options, and will include optional ergonomic seats with massage functions in top trims.
