Volkswagen updates ID. 4 and announces new ID. Tiguan EV

Volkswagen is advancing its electric vehicle lineup with significant updates to the ID. 4 and the upcoming reveal of the ID. Tiguan.

The 2025 ID. 4 Pro model features substantial performance upgrades, including an increase in maximum output to 286 PS and torque to 545 Nm. While the WLTC driving range has decreased to 587 km, the vehicle benefits from improved DC charging capabilities, allowing it to utilize 150 kW rapid chargers more effectively. Interior updates include a larger 12-inch infotainment screen standard across all grades.

Additionally, Volkswagen has announced that the new all-electric ID. Tiguan will make its world premiere in early October, with a market launch scheduled for early 2027. Following the company's strategy of transitioning successful nameplates to electric models, the ID. Tiguan will be sold alongside traditional internal combustion and plug-in hybrid versions of the Tiguan to meet diverse consumer needs.
