VOLL implements MCP to connect corporate travel data with AI assistants
VOLL, Latin America's largest corporate travel and expense agency, has become the first in the region to adopt the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This open standard allows AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot to securely connect to authorized travel and expense data within the VOLL platform.
By using MCP, managers can use natural language queries within their existing AI environments to retrieve specific operational insights. This eliminates the need to manually cross-reference different systems and reports to understand route spending, contract compliance, or policy violations. According to VOLL CTO Lucas Machado, the protocol does not replace management systems but establishes a secure connection between AI applications and the structured business context provided by the platform.
