Volleyball and high school sports results reported

In collegiate volleyball, FIU defeated Florida A&M 3-0 during the FAMU Volleyball Tournament in Tallahassee. The Panthers secured the win with scores of 25-14, 25-18, and 25-21. Lana Sesar led FIU with 13 kills, while LaDonna Trantham recorded 12 kills for the Rattlers.

In high school sports, Triad’s varsity volleyball team swept Mechanicsburg 25-11, 25-23, 25-10. Jonathan Alder’s soccer team defeated Kenton Ridge 10-0, improving their record to 5-2-1. Additionally, the Fairbanks girls' golf team won the 2026 Ohio Heritage Conference tournament with a score of 373. Marysville’s girls' tennis team lost a close match to Dublin Scioto with a final score of 3-2.
