Brazil is hosting multiple volleyball gatherings this weekend. In Sorriso, Mato Grosso, a delegation from Porto dos Gaúchos will compete in the second State Adapted Volleyball Championship, featuring 28 teams from eight municipalities and providing qualification slots for the national finals scheduled for December. The event, organized by the Brazilian Confederation of Adapted Volleyball, runs from July 10‑12 and highlights sport participation for senior athletes.

Meanwhile, in Porto Alegre, Olympic volleyball champion Thaísa Daher will lead a three‑day "Thaísa Experience" program at the Grêmio Náutico União, including a lecture, medal exhibition, and sport camps for children, adults and teenagers. The initiative aims to share her career insights on leadership, discipline and technical training with fans and aspiring players.
