Volleyball results from the Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic

At the Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic, Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) secured a five-set victory over James Madison. The Colonels, now 5-1, won with set scores of 18-15, 25-23, 27-25, 15-25, and 15-11. Audrey Hudson led the team with 14 kills and 14 digs, while Emma Closurdo contributed 13 kills and Alexis Bull added eight blocks.

In another match at the tournament, Western Kentucky University (WKU) defeated Pepperdine in four sets. The Hilltoppers (4-3) relied on strong offensive performances from Aubrey Sears and Kaira Knox, who both recorded 14 kills. Kate Rush also achieved a career high with 46 assists to help secure the win.
