Volleyball World and AVC extend commercial partnership to 2052
Volleyball World and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) have signed a long-term commercial partnership extension that runs through 2052. Announced at the AVC Congress in Bangkok, the agreement establishes Volleyball World as the exclusive commercial partner for the AVC for the next 26 years.
The partnership covers the commercial development of AVC competitions, including media rights, sponsorship, and event hosting. The agreement aims to provide financial stability for athletes and teams by guaranteeing prize money for the AVC Champions League and the AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Championships.
Volleyball World CEO Ugo Valensi noted that volleyball is growing faster in Asia than any other region, stating the extension provides the stability needed to invest in the future and raise standards across the continent. AVC President Ramon Suzara added that the commitment offers certainty for the organization's 65 national federations to plan and grow.
