Volos FC nears transfer of Rémy Cabella from Olympiacos

Volos FC is nearing the completion of a transfer for French attacking midfielder Rémy Cabella from Olympiacos. The two clubs have reached an agreement for the 36-year-old player to join the Magnesia-based team.

Cabella, who was not in the plans of Olympiacos managers José Luis Mendilibar or Imanol Alguacil, is scheduled to undergo medical and ergometric examinations this Saturday. Once these tests are passed, the transfer will be officially finalized for the remainder of the season.

A former French international with four caps, Cabella has an extensive career including stints at Montpellier, Newcastle United, Marseille, Saint-Étienne, Krasnodar, and Lille. He is noted for his technical ability and creativity in attacking roles.
