Volos hosts charitable football tournament to fund orphanage

The city of Volos will organize a three‑day charitable football tournament at the Panthessaliko Stadium on 10‑12 August. The matches will feature Volos, Kalamata, Olympiacos B and Panionios. All ticket revenue – €5 per ticket – is earmarked for the Volos Orphanage.

If a match ends in a draw, no extra time will be played; the winner will be decided by a penalty shoot‑out. The schedule includes a small final on the evening of 12 August followed by a grand final later that night. Media representatives must apply for accreditation by 10 August.

The event aims to raise funds for the orphanage while providing a local sporting spectacle.
