Volotea reports that its seat capacity from Asturias is expected to exceed 1.2 million for 2026.

Simultaneously, Volotea has launched a new connection between Seville Airport and Florence. This is the first regular flight in history between these two locations and represents the third Italian destination available from Seville. This new route will also operate with up to two weekly frequencies. Since beginning operations in Seville in 2012, the airline has transported over 1.8 million passengers through the airport.
