Volt Teknoloji develops indigenous power systems for KAAN and HÜRJET

Izmir-based Volt Teknoloji has developed indigenous electric power generation systems for Turkey’s national aircraft platforms. The company successfully developed the main power generation system for the KAAN national combat aircraft, which was utilized during its taxi tests and initial flight processes. The system includes alternators, generators, and control units designed from scratch using local engineering, control algorithms, and electromagnetic design solutions.

Following the success with KAAN, the company has adapted this technology for the HÜRKUŞ aircraft and has entered the delivery phase. Volt Teknoloji is also currently developing next-generation electric power systems tailored to the specific performance requirements of the HÜRJET jet trainer and the GÖKBEY general-purpose helicopter. These systems are considered critical for flight safety and mission performance, a high-level technology currently mastered by only a limited number of companies globally.
