Volta Redonda to host Rua de Compras and Feira da Roça in Vila Santa Cecília

Volta Redonda will host the Rua de Compras event this Saturday, October 10, in the Vila Santa Cecília neighborhood. Taking place on Rua 16 from 9:00 to 16:00, the initiative is a partnership between the local government and various commercial entities, including CDL, Aciap, and Sicomércio.

The program features local retail promotions, a craft fair, a food truck area, and an exhibition of vintage cars and motorcycles. Cultural activities include performances by the Municipal Band and Municipal Choir, alongside recreational sports activities and health services such as blood pressure monitoring.

Simultaneously, the Feira da Roça Saberes e Sabores will be held near the Raul de Leoni Municipal Library from 8:00 to 14:00. This event focuses on family farming, agroecology, artisanal cuisine, and the donation of native and fruit seedlings. Due to the Rua de Compras, traffic on Rua 16 will be closed to vehicles.
