Voltaggio hosts 7th edition of Anello di Voltaggio running race

The 7th edition of the Anello di Voltaggio running race is scheduled for Sunday, August 16. Organized by the Polisportiva di Voltaggio, the event features a 6.5km course through the town, passing by the Lemme stream.

The race will center around Piazza Garibaldi, which serves as the hub for pre- and post-race activities. Participants are expected to gather at the piazza starting at 16:00, with the race officially beginning at 18:00. While 84 athletes are currently pre-registered, organizers anticipate a total of between 130 and 150 participants.

Notable registered athletes include Pietro Pastorino from Gruppo Città di Genova, as well as Enrico Ponta and Stefano Romagnollo. The event follows a tradition of local road running that has historically hosted national champions.
