Volunteer clean‑up drives engage families in San Benedetto and Carmagnola, Italy

In San Benedetto, PicenAmbiente turned its Kid’s Village into an interactive learning space during the "Notte Bianco‑Rosa dei Bambini" on 14 June 2026. Children and parents tested their recycling knowledge through games such as the Spazza‑Goal, where a plastic bottle is nudged into a bin with a broom. Enrico Battisti, creative strategist for PicenAmbiente, said the aim is to show that "small gestures can make a difference." Participants received prizes, educational comic books and took photos as superhero volunteers.

A day earlier, on 13 June 2026, the civic group Carmagnola Città Responsabile organised a city‑wide "Clean Up" in Carmagnola. Despite 33 °C temperatures, volunteers, supported by city assessor Massimiliano Pampaloni, collected litter from streets, canals and rural paths. The municipality supplied equipment and safety gear, and the event is part of the broader "Clean Up diffuso" network that promotes ongoing environmental stewardship in the town.
