Volunteer organizations donate medical technology to Italian hospitals

Volunteer organizations in Italy are providing advanced medical technology to local hospitals through donations.

At the Pio XI Hospital in Desio, the association Cancro Primo Aiuto has delivered a high-precision ultrasound machine to the Cardiology department to improve diagnostic accuracy. The association has also pledged future support for the construction of an access road for the hospital's new Emergency Room, which is currently undergoing expansion.

In Oderzo, the volunteer organization Il Melograno ODV donated a wireless ultrasound probe to the hospital's maternity unit. Funded by a recent cultural event, the wireless technology allows medical staff to perform rapid fetal assessments directly at the patient's bedside or in the delivery room, increasing mobility and efficiency during labor.
