Volunteering and health awareness events held in Spain

The XXXI Autumn School of Volunteering opened in Cuenca, bringing together volunteers and social entities from across Spain. Organized by the Volunteering Platform of Spain and the Volunteering Platform of Castilla-La Mancha, the event focuses on training and exchanging experiences regarding citizen participation and voluntary action.

In Ciudad Real, officials from the Provincial Council visited an information stand organized by the Association of Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients (ACREAR) to mark World Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases Day. The association is advocating for integrated medical services to reduce waiting times and seeking greater integration of patient associations into the healthcare system to reduce dependence on subsidies.
