Volvo Car Malaysia opens new service centre in Kuching

Volvo Car Malaysia has expanded its service network with the opening of a new 2S (service and spare parts) centre in Kuching, Sarawak. Operating under the Sebangga Group, the facility is located along Jalan Pending.

While the new centre is currently dedicated exclusively to after-sales service and parts, Sebangga Mitsinbo is working to upgrade the site into a full dealership in the future. In the interim, customers interested in purchasing new Volvo vehicles can place orders through the group’s established branch in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Chris Wailes, managing director of Volvo Car Malaysia and Thailand, stated that the company is committed to maintaining an accessible network of service centres and complete dealerships across Malaysia. Datuk Arif Ambrose Leonard Ng, chairman of Sebangga Group, noted that the group is focused on delivering high-quality service now while preparing to transform the space into a sales destination.
