Volvo Cars to become exclusive Lynk & Co distributor in Europe

Volvo Cars has reached a definitive agreement with Geely Auto to become the exclusive distributor for Lynk & Co in Europe, effective January 2027. Under this partnership, Volvo will manage commercial operations, brand development, retail, and after-sales services across the continent.

Lynk & Co will utilize Volvo’s established commercial infrastructure, including its extensive dealer and service networks, to reach more customers and strengthen its market presence. This move marks a shift for Lynk & Co from its previous focus on subscription models and urban clubs toward a more scalable traditional dealership model.

Despite the close operational integration, the brands will remain distinct. Geely Auto will retain responsibility for Lynk & Co’s global product development, research and development, regulatory certification, and overall brand strategy. The agreement aims to leverage complementary positioning to drive sustainable long-term growth in the European market.
