Volvo CE reports increased Q3 earnings and machine deliveries

Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) reported improved financial results for the third quarter, highlighted by an 8% increase in machine deliveries and a 16% rise in order intake. Net sales grew by 5% to SEK 19,904 million, representing 12% organic sales growth.

Service sales increased by 5% as the company continues to expand its service offerings. The adjusted operating margin for the quarter was 16.1%, with adjusted operating income reaching SEK 3,214 million.

While the global machine market expanded across most regions—including Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa—the company noted a decline in the Middle East. Volvo CE president Melker Jernberg stated that the company maintained stability despite inflationary pressures and rising energy and raw material costs.
