Volvo Trucks and Valeo announce new developments in commercial vehicle technology

Volvo Trucks has introduced a special 100th Anniversary Edition for its flagship FH Aero, FH, FH16 Aero, and FH16 models to preview its upcoming centenary in 2027. The edition features interior and exterior upgrades designed to enhance driver comfort and exclusivity, including redesigned two-tone leather seats, illuminated steps, and customizable LED ambient lighting. The design aims to honor the company’s Swedish heritage and history of innovation.

Separately, Valeo is preparing to showcase its commercial vehicle technologies at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover. The company is focusing on electrification, software-defined vehicle technologies, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) capable of up to Level 4 autonomy. Valeo also aims to bridge long-haul trucking with zero-emission urban logistics through its Cyclee™ electric powertrain solutions for last-mile delivery.
