Volvo XC60 T8 PHEV Ultra receives technological and design updates

Volvo has introduced an updated version of the XC60, specifically highlighting the T8 PHEV Ultra plug-in hybrid model. The refresh includes aesthetic updates such as a new diamond-patterned chrome grille, darkened LED taillights, and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Technological enhancements feature an upgraded 11.2-inch touchscreen running the Google infotainment system, powered by a Qualcomm SA8155P chip to improve processing and graphics performance. The interior has been refined with improved sound insulation in the A and B pillars and multi-layer laminated side windows to reduce cabin noise. High-end materials like Nappa leather and the Bowers & Wilkins 15-speaker audio system are standard on the T8 trim.

Performance-wise, the T8 PHEV combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor to produce a combined 455 hp and 72.3 kgm of torque. It offers an electric range of 86 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The model is positioned in the luxury SUV market with a suggested price of approximately 2.99 million TWD.
