Von Miller addresses slow start with Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Von Miller has taken personal responsibility for his lack of statistical impact during the first five games of the 2026 season. Despite his veteran status, Miller has yet to record a sack, totaling only six pressures according to Pro Football Focus.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed a desire to see Miller receive more playing time to bolster the team's pass rush. While Miller noted he would welcome more defensive repetitions, he stated he is not disgruntled by his current snap count and intends to remain a positive influence in the locker room.

The Cowboys' defensive struggles are highlighted by a low sack count; despite recording 76 pressures, the team has only five sacks, ranking as the third-fewest in the NFL.
