Von Miller signs one-year deal with Dallas Cowboys
Veteran pass rusher Von Miller has signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys, potentially worth up to $7.5 million. The 37-year-old, a Dallas native, joins the team following stints with the Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders.
Miller expressed excitement about returning to his hometown, describing the move as a “dream within a dream.” He aims to help the Cowboys return to Super Bowl contention. The signing adds depth to a defense that has seen several recent improvements, though owner Jerry Jones indicated the team remains open to further roster additions.
In a lighthearted side note, Miller is reportedly attempting to negotiate for the No. 40 jersey, which is currently held by fullback Hunter Luepke. Miller, who co-owns the organic poultry farm Greener Pastures Chicken, has jokingly offered Luepke a lifetime supply of chicken in exchange for the number.
