Von Miller's Greener Pastures Chicken farm achieves organic certification

NFL star and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller has expanded his Texas-based poultry business, Greener Pastures Chicken, by achieving Regenerative Organic and Halal certifications. The company focuses on pasture-raised poultry, a method where birds move to fresh pasture daily to forage for grass and insects after an initial period in a brooder.

Miller's interest in poultry farming originated from a meat-production course he took while studying at Texas A&M. The business has attracted significant investment from high-profile NFL figures, including Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees, and Nick Foles.

The farm's regenerative approach utilizes chicken manure to nourish the soil, aiming to improve land health while producing meat without the use of antibiotics or added hormones.
