Vonn plans skiing comeback after fall, vacation before final surgery

U.S. ski star Lindsey Vonn, 41, says she plans another operation after a heavy fall at the Olympic drama and hopes to return to the piste, possibly at World Cup level. She indicated it is not yet clear whether she will compete on the World Cup circuit, but stated her intention to ski again.

In parallel, Vonn told People she is arranging a sea-side vacation as part of her recovery and looking forward to a restful summer. She has endured months of pain and multiple treatments since breaking her left leg during the 2026 Winter Olympics, and she said that the flight ticket is already booked as she seeks a period of recovery before moving forward with treatment.
