VOR launches public voting for 2026 VORward awards

The Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR) has opened voting for the 2026 VORward awards, which recognize outstanding employees and teams within the public transportation sector. The awards cover nine different categories designed to honor those essential to the functioning of public transit.

While expert juries will determine winners in five categories, three categories are decided by public vote: most popular bus driver, most popular train conductor, and best demand-responsive transport. Notable candidates include Lukas Gruber from Postbus, recognized for his positive attitude and social media engagement, and Andrea Spieß from Blaguss, who has maintained an accident-free driving record since 2010.
