Évora_27 hosts free cultural night featuring “Revelação” and “MA” on July 18
The Évora_27 – Capital Europeia da Cultura programme will stage a dual‑event night on 18 July in Évora, Portugal. At 21:00 the Sé de Évora hosts the theatrical piece “Revelação”, directed by John Romão and performed by Albano Jerónimo, drawing on original texts by José Tolentino Mendonça. The work explores contemporary overload of images and invites contemplation of waiting, thirst and mystery. At 22:00 the Salão Central Eborense will present the national premiere of “MA”, created by French artist Maxime Houot, featuring a light installation and electronic music that merges technology, movement and meditation. Organisers describe the two brief, complementary projects as a journey from interior to exterior, from word to luminous gesture, encouraging reflection on spirituality, technology and the present moment. Both performances are free of charge, though tickets must be obtained through the BOL platform.
