Évora hosts Cartuxa Évora Ladies Open tennis tournament

The second edition of the Cartuxa Évora Ladies Open is currently taking place at the Clube de Ténis de Évora. This international women's tennis competition is part of the ITF W50 circuit and features a $40,000 prize pool.

Évora Mayor Carlos Zorrinho visited the tournament to highlight its regional, national, and international importance for the city. The event, held from September 7 to 13, brings together athletes from various countries and high-level international players. The competition is entering its decisive phase, with the doubles final scheduled for Saturday afternoon and the singles final set for Sunday morning. Admission to the event is free for the public.
