Vorarlberg citizens utilize electronic vaccination pass services

Citizens in Vorarlberg are increasingly utilizing services to digitize their immunization records. At state vaccination centers in Dornbirn and Rankweil, 63 individuals have had their previous vaccinations entered into the electronic vaccination pass (E-Impfpass).

In addition to digitizing records, 34 people utilized a vaccination pass check to identify potential gaps in their immunization status. This service, which costs 15 euros, is also available through private physicians and pharmacies.

Efforts are underway at a federal level to expand the digital functionality of the system. Future plans include a reminder system that would notify citizens via app or SMS regarding necessary booster shots to help maintain population-wide immunity.
