Vorchdorf hosts benefit concert honoring Peter Alexander

A benefit concert honoring the 100th anniversary of entertainer Peter Alexander took place on September 12 at the Kitzmantelfabrik in Vorchdorf, Austria. The event, titled ‘100 Jahre Peter Alexander – Das tu’ ich alles aus Liebe’, featured Austro-swing entertainer Gernot Pachernigg and his band.

The performance combined big-band sounds with anecdotes and songs to pay homage to the Austrian entertainment legend. The show was an inclusive project involving people with and without disabilities working together. All proceeds from the concert were donated to Fokus Mensch, an organization representing the interests of people with disabilities in Upper Austria, to support projects promoting an inclusive society.
