Vordingborg named host city for Royal Run 2027

Vordingborg has been announced as one of the five host cities for the Royal Run event scheduled for May 17, 2027. Mayor Michael Seiding Larsen stated that the municipality intends to create unique routes utilizing the area's historic royal castle, natural landscapes, and coastal location.

The municipality plans to collaborate with local businesses, associations, volunteers, and other relevant stakeholders to organize the festivities. The event is set to take place on Whit Monday in 2027.
