Vortex Energy completes Meadows project acquisition in Saskatchewan
Vortex Energy has completed the acquisition of the Meadows project in Saskatchewan, Canada, from Global Strategic Minerals Corp. Through this transaction, the company secured 100 percent of the interests in Saskatchewan Subsurface Mineral Permit #SMP273, along with all associated technical information and regulatory authorizations.
In tandem with this acquisition, Vortex Energy is conducting a geological desktop study for its Robinsons River Salt Project. The company has commissioned Lonquist Field Service (Canada), ULC to evaluate existing geological, geophysical, and historical borehole data. The objective is to determine the potential for naturally occurring hydrogen and helium at the site to decide whether further on-site investigations are warranted.
The company noted that the current desktop study is purely exploratory and does not constitute proof of the presence or quantity of any gases, nor does it address future economic feasibility.
