Votuporanga advances construction of R$ 50 million maternity hospital
Construction is advancing on the Materno-Infantil Hospital (HMI) in Votuporanga, São Paulo. The project, estimated to cost nearly R$ 50 million, has completed 98% of its foundation and is moving into the macrostructure assembly phase.
Located adjacent to the Santa Casa de Votuporanga, the facility will span over 7,900 square meters across four floors. It is designed to provide 104 beds, including 30 dedicated to neonatal and pediatric intensive care units (ICU). The hospital will also feature three surgical rooms and three specialized rooms for labor, pre-partum, and post-partum care. Once completed, the HMI is intended to serve as a regional reference for 53 municipalities in northwestern São Paulo.
