Votuporanga completes sediment removal at Municipal Reservoir

Saev Ambiental has completed a new stage of desilting works at the “Prefeito Luiz Garcia de Haro” Municipal Reservoir in Votuporanga. The intervention resulted in the removal of 18,000 cubic meters of sediment accumulated along approximately 1,200 meters of the reservoir's margins.

Executed by SP Águas through the Rios Vivos Program, this phase involved an investment of R$ 1.8 million. The project aims to restore the storage capacity of the municipality's primary water source and strengthen the water supply infrastructure for the local population.

The operation was made possible through a partnership between the municipal government and the State Government, allowing for the recovery of the water source without direct costs to the City Hall or Saev Ambiental during this stage.
