Votuporanga Literary Festival Schedules School Visits for August

The Festival Literário de Votuporanga (FLIV) 2026 opened registration for school caravans from Votuporanga and surrounding municipalities. Groups can visit the festival between 10 and 14 August, with activities running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parque da Cultura, featuring more than 40 free attractions focused on literature, arts, and reading promotion.

Schools must book in advance by calling (17) 3405‑9670, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Janaina Silva, the city’s Secretary of Culture and Tourism, said the advance scheduling “ensures organized reception, safety and a quality experience for students and educators.” Mayor Jorge Seba highlighted the festival’s role in democratizing cultural access and fostering new readers across the region.
