Voula celebrates 100 years of history with anniversary events

The Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni is organizing a series of events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Voula. The celebrations highlight the town's historical journey and social cohesion since its organized development began around 1926.

Key festivities include a photography exhibition titled ‘100 Years of Voula - With Color and Motion’ curated by Stefanos Chatzistefanou at the Voula Spiritual Center. Scheduled events at Imia Square feature performances by the Hellenic Air Force Band, a cheerleading demonstration by the ‘Amazons’ team, and contributions from the Voula Commercial Association of Professionals.

The anniversary will culminate in a major audiovisual production titled ‘Voula 100 Years - One City. One History. One Century.’ This performance, featuring artists Grigoris Valtinos, Foteini Darra, and Thodoris Voutsikakis, will combine speech, imagery, and music to recount the town's evolution. The evening is set to conclude with a specialized drone show designed by DRNS to commemorate the centenary.
